BS follows Somaliland System of Education. Classes commence in 1^st August and conclude in end of June. The school observes a one month mid term holiday and another month summer holiday. Students attend classes five days a week from Saturday through Wednesday. The school day begins at 7:300A.M. and end 01:00 P.M.

The average class has from 17 – 25 students. The overall student/teacher ratio is 21/1. BS recognizes the importance of suitable class sizes to maximize the educational program.
